Redfish with Spices
Redfish together with all the best spices will make you ask for more! This fresh, spicy and mouth-watering recipe tastes great with either white or red wine. A great recipe for a dinner party!
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp ground red pepper
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 tsp coarsely cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 1 tsp ground garlic
- 1 tsp dry parsley
- 4 medium redfish fillets
- 1/2 cup butter, clarified
Directions:
- In a bowl, pour in spices.
- Place a large cast-iron skillet over high heat. When the skillet’s color begins to lighten, about 5 to 10 minutes, the pan is ready.
- Brush the whole fish with butter and then dip in spices.
- Put in the pan and pour a little of the melted butter over each fish.
- Cook for 3 minutes.
- Turn the fish to its other side, and pour a little more butter over it. Cook 3-6 minutes, or until done.
